teachers' dilemma

How should i begin? Well,the teachers today are in a dilemma. Very often i wonder why i became a teacher.This is not a defense for the teachers' cause. It is the plight of teachers to bear the brunt of every trouble in schools.What i found is t he media sensationalise problems outside the purview of school premises and teachers become scapegoats in many instances.There are a few exceptions,though...........Why are teachers criticised whenever any child falls into problems outside the school?The recent suicides of teenagers due to mobile phones is an instance. Teachers spend quality time with students . Children are cared for,their needs(not often) looked into, more by teachers than their parents . But a slight wavering on the part of the teacher can result in dire consequences.Why is it so? Why this dilemma? I'm confused . Please give your views whoever reads this.
